Length of Project: I took about 2 weeks on this, working on it nearly every day.


Favourite Part: Going through our old costume jewelry to find things to fit with the costume.


Least Favourite: The cape...god the cape got annoying to make.


Total Value: Including the jewelry, this costume is worth around $1,000.


Materials: Stretch velvet... and some other type of opaque material. Also lots of jewels.


Notes: I decided to do this costume for Katsucon when I heard Yoshitaka Amano, Celes' creator, 
was going to be there. Since there were so many different designs of her character, I kinda just 
took my own design, combining all her outfits, and this was my finished project. Overall I did 
NOT enjoy working on this costume. The patterns I had were incredibly hard to follow and put 
together very badly. I believe I would have had a much more pleasurable experience if it wasn't 
for that damned cape. I enjoyed wearing it so much though, it really made me forget about what 
a pain it was to make it. It's debut was at Katsucon 6, Feb. 2000
